from roro with love-- III

i only recently stumbled across the concept of a clarifying shampoo, and then promptly fell in love. (:

A clarifying shampoo is supposed to be used once every 10 days or so. the purpose is to strip the hair of a build up of oils and product, and to allow the conditioner to fully moisturize and benefit the hair. very few drugstore brands make a clarifying shampoo, and the price tag on higher end ones aren't pretty. but with a natural shampoo and some baking soda you can get the same results as any clarifying shampoo.

directions:
cover the bottom of a bowl with shampoo- (important, shampoo must be marketed as "natural" or your looking as a big mess) and sprinkle in up to a 1 and 1/2 tea spoons of baking soda on top. mixture will thin out as the baking soda is added.

use in place of normal shampoo, then use condition hair normally, rinse, comb, and sit back and wait to see some your hair look more vibrant, soft and full than ever before.

enjoy, xox rosie
